Halfway Motors was founded in 1990 when David Crouch bought the Victoria Street premises from EC Davis Nhill, Coach Builders to set up his auto repair business. The name came from the location of the town: Nhill is exactly halfway between Melbourne and Adelaide on the Western Highway.
From two mechanics in 1990 Halfway Motors has grown to be a very successful business with a solid reputation and loyal clientele. Dallas Moyle, David’s partner, bought the business from him in 2004, allowing David to retire after a 23-year partnership.
The business has continued to grow since then, having employed several apprentices since the time Dallas and Kim Moyle took ownership.
Dallas and Kim believe in keeping the young in the industry and in their hometown. With the help of VACC and RACV they have been able to keep their employees up-to-date with the latest training and technology. They pride themselves in offering the best customer service and safety to our community and to the travelling public.
